A Dream Fulfilled in Paris
In October 2023, I received one of the most meaningful recognitions of my artistic journey: the Painter Artist Medal awarded by the prestigious Académie des Arts, Sciences et Lettres in Paris. For me, this moment was more than a ceremony — it was the confirmation of a calling, and a dream fulfilled.
The award ceremony took place in the luxurious reception hall of the Intercontinental Hotel, located just 20 meters from the world-renowned Opéra Garnier. Surrounded by artists and cultural figures from across the globe, I experienced a deeply emotional moment as the Romanian national anthem, “Deșteaptă-te, române!”, was played — a tribute that moved me to my core.
Opening Doors to the International Art World
This distinction has already begun to open new doors, both nationally and internationally. It has deepened my desire to exhibit in more art salons, both in Romania and abroad. Shortly after the ceremony, I was honored to receive an invitation to present my works at Art Shopping — one of Europe’s leading art fairs — at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
I see this award not only as recognition, but as a stepping stone into a wider artistic landscape. It motivates me to continue growing, creating, and sharing my work with audiences who resonate with art that comes from the heart.
